Back in the early years, we noticed something weird.
We’d send off designs.
They’d come back.
And the final weight?
Always heavier than expected.
Not by much, but consistently off.
Just enough to bug the perfectionist in all of us.
Fast forward to 2019, and we finally said:
“Enough’s enough.”
That was the birth of the Helium concept, first seen in the Caesar Helium run.
Same design. Same spirit.
But tuned down to what we originally intended it to be.
And now?
It was time for round two.
Sidebar: The Caesar Helium walked… so the PixelApe Helium could sprint.
Enter: PixelApe Helium Edition.
Yes, we made some changes.
No, the shape isn’t radically different.
But the feel?
Night and day.
This isn’t one of those “slightly tweaked for marketing” situations.
This is a full personality shift.
The OG PixelApe was a chill, thumpy powerhouse, relaxed and raw.
The Helium?
Full-blown competition mode.
Slick. Nimble. Scary good.
To get it right, we made some sacrifices.
Slight adjustments in the cup.
A whisper of a tweak in the rim weight.
Sidebar: Concessions were made. Speeds were gained.
And then it landed.
We tossed it around.
And everyone stopped what they were doing.
“What is going on here?”
We expected a slight performance bump.
Instead, we got a freakin’ track ready monster.
It moves like a 62.3g featherweight,
Because, well… it is 62.3g.
But it spins like it’s packing 66.
