BUILT FOR THE STAGE

Conspiracy

The year was 2018, and MonkeyfingeR was riding high.

We were delivering heaters, the fans were stoked, the reviewers were impressed, and we were finally hitting that rare sweet spot where both camps agreed:
“MFD might be onto something.”

But something was still missing.
We’d made casual beasts. Signature flows. Pocket powerhouses.
Now it was time for something built to conquer the stage.

Sidebar: Cue the call to arms. It was time for another team build.

We rallied the crew and threw up a bat signal in the shape of a “W”

Team member Will had already dabbled in design work with us before, and this time he was stepping up big, handling all the CAD and bringing serious vision to the table.

We pulled design DNA from our past builds, Tri-B, Caesar, Pixelape, and fused them into something new.
Something leaner. Meaner. Unapologetically competitive.

And just like that, the Conspiracy was born.

Sidebar: Don’t let the name fool you, it was built in plain sight, by the whole crew.

Designed for insane spin times.
Nimble when you needed it.
Stable under pressure.
A throw with purpose and presence, with a little piece of every team member baked in.

Will brought the concept to life with a clean, surgical set of drawings.
The prototype came back fast, got anodized, and was fired off to the team for testing.

Ray was the first to get his hands on it.

He threw it. Felt the spin. Landed the bind.
Said nothing.

Sidebar: When Ray goes radio silent… that’s either very good or very bad.

BOOM!

He didn’t want to influence the feedback.
Didn’t say a word while the team started chiming in.

And then, boom.

WTF?! Don’t change a thing.

Every player said the same thing:
“We nailed it.”
Perfect balance. Perfect feel.
Will had put every design element right where it needed to be. Well done, sir!

The Conspiracy dropped, and then something wild happened.

It went on to win…
YoYo of the Year.

We couldn’t believe it.

We were honored. Humbled.
Still are.

Sidebar: You don’t build stuff to chase awards. But man, it sure feels good when the community hands you one.

Flash forward to 2025, and the Conspiracy still holds its ground as one of our proudest releases.

And hey, just between us?

It might be time for another team build.
And lucky for us…

Will’s still on the squad.

Just saying.
